KATHRYN LORAH FARRELL is one of the shareholders of Deschenes & Farrell, P.C. She graduated in 1989 from Alfred University with a BA in Criminal Justice and Political Science. She then worked as the Personnel Manager for a security company in Brookline, Massachusetts. In 1994, she graduated from the New England School of Law and was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in the same year. Ms. Farrell practiced law in Lexington, Massachusetts in the areas of real estate, family law, estate planning and general civil litigation. In 2006, she joined Hall, Finnegan & Deschenes and then became a shareholder in Deschenes & Farrell, P.C. Her areas of practice are Real Estate Conveyancing, including representation of Buyers, Sellers and Lenders, Estate Planning and Probate. Ms. Farrell is an agent for Old Republic Title Insurance Company, Chicago Title Insurance Company, Lawyers Title Insurance Company, and Commonwealth Title Insurance Company. She is a member of the Real Estate Bar Association of Massachusetts, the Massachusetts Bar Association, and the Women's Bar Association. Ms. Farrell grew up in Concord, Massachusetts and now lives in Harvard, Massachusetts with her husband and son. Ms. Farrell is active in the Harvard community as a member of the Parent Teacher Association, the Community Calendar Committee and the Fourth of July Committee. She formerly served on the Board of Directors for the Women's Bar Association, and served as a Trustee of the Women's Bar Foundation. Ms. Farrell has been a Mock Trial Judge for Lexington High School, volunteered on the WBA's Elder Law Panel and co-chaired the WBA's Pro Bono Committee.
